Byron and Theresa Lea purchased the Inn December 2015, and we are very much hands-on owners. We relocated from Newport Beach in Southern California, after selling Byron’s Commercial Valuation business to two long-term employees in 2015. Our background is participating in triathlons, and we enjoy all things outdoors. The Estes Park and RMNP area provide so much for everyone that enjoys the outdoors! 2016 brought us horses and we’ve been installing infrastructure, learning all things horses, and the many trail systems in the region.

We have one son, Zion Lea, and his passion is mountaineering and guiding. He joined us after graduation from the Outdoor Leadership Program, in Greenfield Massachusetts in May 2016, where he received certifications in Mountaineering & Expedition leadership, Avalanche Safety, Sea & White Water kayak/rafting guiding, and Rock Climbing with National Certifications from the Professional Climbing Instructors of America, American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education, Professional Ski Association of America, and Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. Zion will be a big part of our shaping of the property and expansion of the offerings we provide to our guests.
